What a fear!!

“My little barking chicken, let’s get experienced!”. Nothing like experiencing the world helps in defeating fears, right?! Let’s start from the park!

...mmm...sniff a little bit here...a little bit there...I’ll make of you a brave boy and you’ll be friend of all the big dogs that you'll meet here every day.

Mr. “barking” Beau, so brave at home and strong with his bros&sistas hides amongst the grass as soon as he sees some humans coming towards us.

“Wuff!!! Don’t even think to touch me! Wuff...!!!”, he seems to say.

...and mummy comes to help. You, little seducer!

But then, coup de théâtre! Humans coming towards us with their dogs are perceived as  coming in peace. Even better if they first ignore him.. Mmmm....interesting! My good boy accepts his first foreigner’s caress. What an improvement!

And now that we are brave like warriors, let’s go to the worst human ever, THE VET!. “Why is this evil guy scratching my balls?!” he seems to ask me. We have to take care of your jewels, so that, maybe, once you will earn your living.

The rest of the warrior...with Bertha. Fighting fears is really stressing out.

The very first day

It was the 27th of June 2011 and he seemed the sweetest puppy amongst the others.

I went to the breeder with a blanquet so, once in the new home, he would have taken with him his bros&sistas’ smell. A wild battle started. I am not sure it was the smartest idea ever.

My boy won and showed me for the first time his hellish wince. I had to read the future in in eyes but I was still hypnotised by his beauty and pathetically sure that the name the breeder had given him was perfect to portrait him: “Guardian Angel”. At that time I didn’t know that he would have been much more a “Guardian” than an “Angel”.

How not to be seduced from such a look!? He would have been my “Beauregard”, like the  beautiful cowboy that made me fall in love when I was a kid and that seduced Marylin Monroe in “Bus Stop”. Still I didn’t know he was as rude as my sweet cowboy, or even more.

He barks when it’s time to eat? It could be because at lunch time he was used to fight with his brothers and sisters. He will loose it. Right?!
He barks and tries to bite people who want to touch him? It could be that he’s so beautiful that too many people were touching him all the time. He will loose it. Right?!
He doesn’t want to go out from   home and doesn’t like to walk? Let's be gentle and he will come. Right?!
WRONG!
What to do with such a Rascal?!!!
